Monday’s Headlines: Where in the World is Austin C. Jefferson Edition
The state legislature is out of session until January, which gives Albany Bureau Chief Austin C. Jefferson a chance to get out of the capital for a few well-deserved days of R&R (rest and retrying to figure out what the hell just happened in Albany). We wish him well. Truth is, we don’t know where he went, but we hope he emailed us the password to his laptop.
While he’s away, we’ll post the headlines and a few stories of statewide interest, but we’ll really get back on top of our game when he returns.

- Manhattan pols don’t trust Trump’s Penn Station machinations. (amNY, Gothamist, Streetsblog)
- Is micro transit the fix in Ithaca? (Ithaca.com)
- Can you sleep in your car at a rest stop? Insert “Hmm” emoji here. (Lohud)
- Erie County is spending a lot on its fleet. (Buffalo News)
- Carnage in Yates County. (Democrat and Chronicle)

- The state Comptroller is not pleased with upstate buses. (NY1)
