Friday Headlines: The State Has Its Own Agenda Edition

A gruesome scene in Syracuse and our state Comptroller is looking for his seat.
Friday Headlines: The State Has Its Own Agenda Edition

New Yorkers got another horrific reminder on Thursday of the danger caused by a system that relies on people owning private vehicles to get around.

More than 30 vehicles piled up south of Syracuse on I-81 in Lafayette after weather conditions created an unwinnable situation. What if they didn’t need to contend with snow to see their families again?

As the Syracuse Post-Standard reported, 34 car drivers and three truckers crashed in a massive pileup. Seven people were injured, two seriously.
