After four months of delay over safety questions, a northern Manhattan project will proceed without many changes.

City and state agencies have failed to work together, mismanaging the Hudson River bike/ped path.

"I understand [and] respect absolutely advocacy journalism [but] you're looking at this from one prism," the mayor said.

So far, City Hall has watched passively as New York State DOT plows forward with a plan to cut off Hunts Point from the Bronx River with new Bruckner ramps. But the mayor still has leverage at his disposal, if he cares enough to use it.
